Zero Violence254 Walk: Day 17

It's Friday 31 March, 2017 and it's a powerfully significant day in the ongoing Zero Violence254 Walk.

Today, the team arrive in Nairobi after a fantastic 16 day walk that taken them from Kwale to Nairobi in record time!

Consider This Heroic Achievement

Let's consider the significance of this milestone.

There are a  number of walks that have been held in the past where walkers have trekked from Mombasa to Nairobi.

Many of them have not lasted the journey.

Quite a number of teams have taken more than 20 days to complete the journey, due to various limitations like health, injuries and state of the road.

Not only did John and Douglas extend the walk by an extra 45 km by beginning from Kwale, they also completed the marathon stretch in only 17 days.

It's a marvelous achievement from the champion walkers and one worth noting.
